Dating your unmet childhood needs is like trying to quench a deep thirst with a "mirage" —you keep chasing something that looks like love but never truly satisfies. As children, we learn love from our caregivers. If love came with conditions, neglect, or inconsistency, we subconsciously seek partners who mirror those dynamics—hoping to rewrite the past and finally "win" the love we never fully received.
But here’s the truth: It’s not really your partner you’re craving—it’s the feeling of being chosen, nurtured, and finally seen in the way you always longed for.
No relationship can replace the self-healing that only YOU can give your inner child.
